Sony Bravia KDL-40W5100 HDTV

The Sony Bravia KDL-40W5100 is the the 40-inch version of Sony’s lower-end W-series of LCDHDTVs.Despite being further down the lineup the KDL-40W5100 still sports some impressive features like an ethernet port for internet connectivity, support for Sony’s internet widgets and a full 1080p resolution. It does lack the 240Hz refresh rate found higher up in the lineup, but the 120Hz refresh rate it does sport was a high-end feature a year ago. The W-series HDTVs will be available in the spring, pricing has not yet been announced.

LG 42LG60

Panasonic TC-P42G10

The G10 series from Panasonic is an offering which has all the good features but for a less price. The main difference is in the cabinet design. The Panasonic TC-P42G10 is a bit thicker than the V10 series. According to reviews, the Neo PDP technology is the special feature of this line of HDTVs. This promises better pictures with improved resolution, contrast and response time. The “Infinite Black” feature will make sure you get an improved black level.

JVC LT-42P300

The JVC LT-42P300 wide screen high definition (HD) plat panel display offers full HD Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with TeleDock, located at the front base of the set, and able to play downloaded content from an iPod. It is able to interoperate with an iPod and able to display music file info as well as photos during playback.
