Fast Dial is an Firefox extension which will replace the “about:blank” page with thumbnails of your favorite websites.All you have to do is just Right-click on the Website tab, and select “Add to Fast Dial” from the context menu.Every thumbnail can have custom keyboard shortcut.Every folder (group) has its own URL. Thus it’s possible to open several different folders in different tabs simultaneously.Appearance can be specified for each folder individulally.Maximum 3 thumbnails are refreshed simultaneously, thus preventing loading failures on slow internet connections.
Simple Ways to open Fast Dial page:
- Open a new tab (Press Ctrl+T or select File>New Tab From Menu Bar).
- Close all tabs. FastDial will be displayed in the last tab .
- Set “about:blank” as your home page address.(It Automatically open FastDial when you start Firefox).
- Place FastDial toolbal button on the toolbar: Right-click the toolbar, Select “Customize…”, then find Fast Dial button (4 colored squares) and drag-n-drop it to the toolbar.
Ways to add new bookmark to Fast Dial:
- Open site you want to add in a tab. Then double-click “star” icon in browser address bar – bookmark properties dialog appears. Select “Fast Dial” folder in this dialog and click OK. That’s it, bookmarks is added To Your FastDial Page.
- Open site you want to add .Right Click On The Tab And Select “Add to FastDial”.Bookmark is added.
