On most of the social networking websites, images can be saved by doing right click on the web pages and images but there are some websites or blogs which do not permit the user to copy or save the images by right clicking on it. These types of images are known as copy protected images and right click is not allowed on pages and images. Orkut.com is one of the most famous websites that do not permit the user to do such things. This is due to the fact that the feature of right clicking on images is disabled by the administrators.

As people do right click on the images and save as that image but these things will not allow for orkut.com. In order to overcome this issue, there are some methods discovered for you to save the images simply, mentioned below:

Method 1:

If you wish to save only a small number of images, taking a screenshot of images and cropping them is one of the easiest and convenient methods for you. Cropping can be done with the help of Microsoft Paint. There are some steps that you need to follow for saving an image, mentioned below:

a)      You need to open the web page of an image of a particular album.

b)      Print screen button varies from keyboard to keyboard, some keyboards do not have this button. If your keyboard contains this button present on 1st row of keys over arrow keys, you have to press this button.

c)       After doing this, you have to open the Microsoft paint. Now paste that copied image on the paint. You can also use a shortcut method for pasting the image that Ctrl+V.

d)      You have to crop an image by MsPaint cropper and then save the file.

Method 2:

There is a presence of backgroundimage saver in the Mozilla Firefox. It acts as a simple extension of this browser and can be helpful in copying the images. When it is installed, it identifies background images in an automatic manner. When you will click on them, images will be displayed and you can save this image by selecting the option ‘Save Background image As’.

Method 3:

You can follow some below mentioned steps in order to save the ‘copy protected images’:

a)      Firstly, you have to click on the image.

b)      The next step you need to do is to drag the image to your browser’s address bar and then drop it.

c)       The link location is shown and the image is shown in complete size in address bar. When the image will be shown, right clicking is enabled.

d)      Now, you can right click on the image and save it by selecting the option ‘Save Image As’.

Method 4:

This method is available for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer but not compatible with Firexfox 3.0 and its higher versions and it can only work out with Firefox 3.0 lower versions. You need to follow a step by step procedure, mentioned below:

a)      Firstly, you need to load the web page properly from where you wish to copy the photo. You have to wait till the page is fully loaded.

b)      Next step, you need to do is to click on the ‘Tools’ option and then select the “Page Info’.

c)       The window will appear in front of you and you have to select the ‘Media Button’.

By following any of the above mentioned convenient methods, you can copy and save the copy protected photos from various social networking websites.
